Memorable Moment
This week we crossed the boarder into Guatemala and our first point of call was the Tikal ruins. Whilst trying to find accommodation at El Remate we were chased and flagged down by a girl in a yellow bikini, we stopped of course and discovered it was a friend we meet in Zipoilite. We took the accommodation that was on offer there and again it was an idealistic location on a large freshwater lake, with cheep lodgings and food. On leaving 4 days later we meet 2 German bikers at a petrol station and rode with them for the day. That evening we all pitched in to make the evening meal,
they pulled out stoves, plates, lights and did the cooking, and we bought the beer.
